Teacup and Saucer
Porcelain clay body, decoration just below rim is two thin yellow bands enclosing black checker pattern between them. On side of cup is a black line transfer print of a grouse standing and holding a sprig of vegetation in its beak. The decal has been badly applied and the banner beneath the grouse image and containing the words "Grouse Mountain Chalet" is distorted. Saucer is identical in materials and decoration. (B) Porcelain clay body with band decoration inside rim. Bands consist of two thin yellow bands and a black checker pattern between them. A standing grouse transfer or decal also appears on the inner portion of the rim, below the bird is a banner containing the words "Grouse Mountain Chalet".
