Decanter Stand
Silver-plated three-lobed stand for holding three decanters of spirits or wine; sides of lobes are 7.5 cm in height at the highest point; lobes are formed of one continuous curved sheet of metal cut into an elaborate design of curlicues, and molded into three circular sections to hold the decanters; sections have a rolled embossed top edge; inside bottom of each lobe is solid plain metal; shield shape on one of the lobes meant for an inscription has been left blank; tall central handle has an elaborate curved design and is attached to the bottom of the stand with a nut and bolt; stand rests on three feet, each in the shape of a bird's foot clutching a round shape; no hallmark or silver plate stamp visible on stand; the section of the stand that has the blank shield shape has 'eGS' (?) and the number 1188 faintly inscribed on the bottom.
