Description
Shoes
Women's black leather pumps with black beaded design sewn on the vamps and straps. Shoes have two straps crossing over the top of the foot. One fastens on the inside and one fastens on the outside edge of shoe with a round black button. Toes are pointed. Inside of shoes lined with leather and fabric. Leather insoles bear the following stamp: "By Appointment to H.R.H. the Princess of Wales - Peter Yapp - 200.201 & 210 Sloane St. London". Bottom of shoes in shank area have "97" stamped into them. Shoes have been re-soled with "Topy" brand rubber half soles, which show very little wear. Heels are not worn down, and are approximately 4.2 cm in height. Inside of right shoe has two pieces of tape on the bottom of the heel area. "1870 - 1910" written on one piece of tape.
