Government Seal
Disk of yellow coloured wax with a reddish-coloured cotton cord held in place with melted wax at the centre top; the images in relief on both sides are of a younger Queen Victoria, Reverse side Queen Victoria is seated a throne holding a sceptre, to the left is the seated figure of Justice and Religion to the right; in the niches behind QV is a man with a book who represents Law and the other portrays a Bishop, signifies the Church, the royal crest at the bottom of the garlanded border; Obverse side with the inscription is QV riding side saddle a prancing horse, a young page is leading the horse, bottom centre is a trident head between two crossed sprays of oak.
