Description
Ring
Woman's. Chinese rectangular-shaped ring of silver-coloured metal in a filigree pattern, set with one rectangular piece of dark jade. The word "China" is stamped inside the finger band. Parts A and B are the matching earrings, which are a screw-on type, and each post has "GCRFI (?)" and "STERLING" stamped on the end. Appraiser said that probably only the posts of the earrings were sterling silver, and that all other metal parts of this set of jewelry were a base metal with a silver wash on it, not a true silver-plating process. Part C is the matching bracelet. Separate records for parts A-B, and for part C.
