Ginger Pot
A: tan coloured stoneware; press mould formed; hexagonal shaped, each side has a raised floral design in a rectangular shaped cut out; raise opening in the top; light tone blue/green coloured glaze around the middle, the top and the base and unglazed; B: tan coloured stoneware lid; circular shaped; unglazed; the top has a machine printed paper label with a dark tone green coloured background, three concentric white coloured bands around the outside in the center is, "The, CHINA GINGER, PRESERVING CO., (1946) LTD., Office: 195, Reclamation Street G/F, Chinese language writing, YOUNG STEM GINGER, IN SYRUP, NET 1/2LB. GINGER WLB SYRUP, REGD. MADE IN HONG KONG, a green coloured horseshoe with two red coloured Chinese language characters in the center and "GOOD LUCK" below and a larger Chinese language character on either side with, "TRADE" on the left side and "MARK" on the right side.
