White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a black transfer image of a garter on which the words. "S.O.E. VICTORIA" appear. Within the garter are the letters "B.C.". On the bottom is a green transfer image of the maker's name below a lion and a vessel shape. Above these are the words "VITRIFIED/HOTEL WARE".
