White clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of three thin green bands around the perimeter of the rim. A gap in the bands contains the green transfer image of a woodsman with an axe standing on a log on one side of the image, a tree on the other side and the words "Scotia Inn". On the bottom is the maker's mark.
