Plate
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of twin blue-green narrow bands running around the plate approximately 2 cm. in from the rim edge. A gap in the bands contains two banners which form an elliptical shape. The upper banner contains the word "Brentwood" and the lower banner contains the word "Hotel" The space enclosed between the banners contains a sailboat on the water. The bottom of the plate has the maker's name and some unintelligible impressions in it. The glaze is extensively crazed and has some discoloration of the clay body under the glaze.
