Plate
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of green color transfer images of torches/sconces with floral designs arranged around the upper surface of the piece. These 6, evenly spaced torch designs are separated by linear elements. One of the spaces between the torches bears the name of the hotel "The Commodore/Vancouver B.C." On the outer edge of the rim is a single dark green band. On the bottom is a green transfer of the maker's and distributor's name. Also on the bottom is the number "16" which is transfer printed and impressed into the bottom is the number "43..."
