Plate
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of one wider Cobalt blue band on upper surface of rim, a thinner dark green band immediately inside the cobalt band, and another dark green band on the edge of the plate well. Also on the upper surface is a garter design in dark green surmounted by a crown. Inside the garter design is a beaver facing to the right and holding a branch in its mouth. On the garter itself are the words "Vancouver Club" and the number "1893" On the bottom of the plate is a green transfer of the maker's name and the distributor's name, and an impressed crown under which is "C.[back slash]/III" also impressed is a flower head and an "m".
