Mug
Thick walled mug of buff to white clay body with clear to white glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of three light green bands around outside of mug wall approximately 2.5 cm below the rim. Where the bands pass above the image of what can only be "Peter Pan" the top band changes from a green to a black band with an upswept, oblique component. Below the banding on one side is the image of Peter Pan blowing a horn shaped musical instrument. Arranged in an arc on the left of the image are the words "Peter Pan Cafe". Below the image are the words "Vancouver B.C." On the bottom of the mug is the maker's mark consisting of a crown/a shield containing a ship in sail/a banner with the word "Grindley" Below the banner is the word "England/Hercules/Vitrified".
