Mug
Thick walled buff to white clay body with clear to opaque white glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wider maroon color band at the outside edge of the rim, a thin blue band around the middle of the mug wall with a gap which contains a green color transfer image of an antlered male deer running over grasses. The grasses sweep up on either side of the deer to form a wide "U" shape. Below the grasses is an open rectangle containing the words "DEER LODGE" On the bottom of the mug is a green circular transfer containing the words "Maddock/Made/in/England" Outside the circle are the words "Vitrified Hotelware".
