Description
Wine Label
One of a series of snowmen shaped labels, probably indicating these wines were made in or around the same year. This label has different shades of colour than files .556 and .557, and unlike these files, lists that it is 26 fluid ounces (probably an indication that it is from a different year). Described on the label as 'nature's own bubbles', and as a Royal Grape Wine. One of many labels with the 'Royal Grape Wine' distinction. Listed in the LCB price list # 30, October 01, 1968 ( as Calona Crackling Burgundy) under Canadian Wines. A 26 oz. bottle sold for $1.70.
