Description
Wine Label
Described as a 'light grape table wine' on the label. Label is eight sided and made of glossy paper, not the in-expensive brown paper listed in Schreiner's "The British Columbia Wine Companion" as belonging to the early years (1966-1973) of Casabello's labels. Probably indicates a date after 1973 for the label (though Schreiner does not categorically state that no glossy labels were made earlier). Listed in the LCB price list # 34, June 01, 1972 under Canadian Table Wine (Red) The sweetness code was 04; an 80 oz. bottle sold for $3.45, and a 26 oz. bottle for $1.15.
