Jeans
Levis, 501, button fly with five rivetted metal buttons. Jeans are five pocket style with copper rivets at stress points, straight leg. Waist size 32. Part of casual outfit (2003.17.6a-f).
Provenance
Worn by Timothy Lyons, teenager, in Campbell River c. 1982. The outfits popular at the time were influenced by designer trends. Ocean Pacific shirts and Levi jeans were popular with Sperry Topsiders usually worn without socks together with an Olin holdall bag that was used for a book bag at school. Timothy was born in Nanaimo, B.C. in 1966 and died in Vancouver in 1986.
