Round hat covered with red fabric and having a black plastic visor; yellow fabric cord doubled across the top of the visor and fastened at either side with a brass(?) button; 'City of Victoria' machine-embroidered in yellow thread on a rectangular patch of the same red fabric; patch is hand stitched to the hat above the centre of the visor; narrow brown vinyl(?) sweatband machine-sewn all around the inside edge of the hat; lining of hat is made of a black synthetic fabric; diamond-shaped piece of clear plastic is sewn onto the black lining at the inside top; most of text on label inside cap is illegible except for 'The Union ... Hat ... Cap ... Canada ...AFL-CIO-CLC'; size 7; donor information states that the hat was worn by a commissionaire at the Memorial Arena; no date.
