Shaped cheongsam with asymmetrical closing constructed from woven red and white silk? or rayon? fabric with an all-over print and lozenge designs; lined in pale green silk; capped sleeves with white open work basket weave detail at top edge; sleeves and body cut as one-piece; machine and hand-stitched; French seams at side seams; no shoulder seams; no darts; standing collar lined in cotton Broderie anglaise; side slits open 42 cm from hemline; all edges decorated with rows of red and white binding; 12 'flower button' closures(in lozenge shapes) with loops and knotted buttons are located at the neckline and along right side opening; label at inside neck has woven Chinese characters, translation 'Made by Shi-Chi Commoner Life Company'.
