Doll
(Part A) is the doll and (Part B) is the gold-coloured metal wire stand. Skipper 'Barbie' doll in a "Straight Legs" style, with a pink-beige plastic body moveable at the neck, and at the jointed hips and shoulders. Face is a darker beige than the body. Eyes are coloured blue and the lips a light pink. Waist-length straight hair with bangs is of man-made fibre in a reddish-brown shade, which is held in place with a narrow brass headband. Doll is missing its original red and white swimsuit, red shoes, and a white brush and comb. Now dressed in a homemade pink dress of synthetic fabric trimmed with white rick-rack and a pink bow, a pink half slip, and pink underdrawers. Wearing Mattel-made pink plastic flat shoes, with one shoe chewed at the toe. Shoes have "Japan" stamped on the bottom of them. This doll marketed as "Barbie's little sister".
