Description
Dish
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a wider light -green band between two thin maroon color bands immediately below the upper rim on the inside surface. Below the bands is a green transfer print consisting of banners with the words "Royal" "Hotel" on them. The banners are embellished with floral elements. On the bottom is the maker's name and mark and the Distributor's name. Impressed into the clay bottom is a crown and "E VII/VIII". The rim is asymmetrically fluted and the bands travel over these at right angles, as a result the banding is uneven in width and color. There are two large chips out of the rim.
