Description
Cup and Saucer
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a black transfer printed image of a garter with the words "S.O.E. VICTORIA" on it and the letters "B.C." in the center of it. The garter appears on the side of the cup and on the rim of the saucer. On the bottom of the saucer is a green transfer print of the maker's name which appears under a lion and a vessel shape. Above this appear the words "VITRIFIED/HOTEL WARE". On the bottom of the cup are the words "MADE IN/ENGLAND".
