Description
Cup and Saucer
Twin handled cup, white clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration is banding consisting of two thin maroon bands with a wider light green band between them just below the rim and a single thin maroon band 2/3 of the way down the side. The bands are applied by hand . On the side is a garter decoration which carries the name of the hotel on it and the initials of the hotel intertwined in the center of the garter design. Black line finials are present at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock on the outer edge of the garter. A median maroon line decoration appears on the outer surface of each of the handles. Saucer matches cup in materials, finish, and decoration.
