Description
Cup and Saucer
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists only of the words "Yorkshire Bakery/Victoria" applied underglaze in green both on the side of the cup and the upper surface of the saucer. The claywork is rudimentary and the glaze shows pinholing on the cup and extensive crazing on the saucer. On the bottom, the maker's transfer appears in green and is a crown above a ring containing a banner and a stylized flower head. The distributor's name appears under the maker's logo.
