Description
Creamer
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. The creamer is slip moulded in a two part mould with the mould lines clearly visible below the spout. Decoration consists of a maroon color band between two thin, green colored bands which run around the rim approximately 1 cm. below it. Below the bands on the outside and approximately two-thirds of the way up from the bottom are the words "Trail Cafe"/"Trail B.C."/"Chow John" in green. There are a number of green decorative lines on the handle and a vertical line down the middle of the outside surface of the handle. On the bottom of the creamer is the combined stamp of the manufacturer and the distributor in black. Probably a transfer image. The piece is marked as "DURALINE"/"SUPER VITRIFIED"/"GRINDLEY/HOTELWARE CO" and the name "Cassidy's Ltd" appears below.
