Fur Coat
Black persian lamb coat, short style with rolled cuffs and shawl collar. Has two black buttons with hand-cut decoration. Sew in satin tag inside pocket says: R.C. Gordon, Manufacturing Furrier, 306 Central Building, B2512, 620 View Street, Victoria, B.C. / Mrs. J. McCulloch / #1807 / Remodeled / 1954. Mrs. J. McCulloch (Alice) (nee: Lintottee) was born in Ontario and moved to Victoria in 1937 - coat given to her by her mother for her birthday. Her husband worked for B.C. Electric.
