Title on front in green and grey in rectangular fitting, similarly coloured areas. Oval in two corners with images of trains, one 1859, another 1945, with people dressed in corresponding attire. Folds out to series of rectangular, horizontal pages with rail car (cut away views) features described in text. Light blue dates and borders. "1859 - 'Old No. 9' The First Pullman Car; 1865 - The First Real Pullman Sleeping Car; 1876 - The Steady March of Progress; 1887 - The Car Vestibule Appears; 1907 - The All-Steel Car Appears; 1917 - Water, Heat and Light Circuits; 1927 - The Single Room Car; 1929 - Air-Conditioning System; 1936 - The Duplex Unit-Lightweight, Streamlined, Articulated Car; 1937 - The Roomette Car; 1940 - The Three-Tier Sleeper; 1942 - Duplex-Roomette". Reverse has green borders, and copy printed photographic views of car features, beginning with 1929. Price marked in pencil.
