The Valley Dairy first appears in the Greater Vancouver City Directory in 1912 located at 1589 6th Avenue West. Auctor Bright Balderston is recorded as the proprietor in 1913 and continues with the dairy until sometime in the mid 1920's. The Dairy continues through 1943. The diary is recorded as wholesale and retail milk distributors as well as manufacturers of "Valley Special Butter."
