Unopened bottle filled with beer; one-piece with side mould seams, ridges around the bottom; tall necked, brown coloured translucent glass; threaded top opening for a screw-off cap; machine printed label, blue background, centre of label is the buriel mask of KingTutankhamun, in the background are Egyptian wall carvings; logo label on the neck, 'Spinnaker Ales', printed on top of thre boat sails in green, red and purple; beer manufacturer information along bottom edge of label, mentions beer strength, '5.0%'; 650ml bottle; label states beer is brewed with heritage wheat, flavoured with fig and star anise.
Provenance
Sample of beer produced by Spinnaker Ales of Victoria, British Columbia. The beer was brewed specifically to coincide with the Eternal Egypt: Masterworks of Ancient Arts travelling exhibition display at the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria in 2004. The beer was brewed with heritage emmer wheat, and flavoured with fig and star anise.
