Name
Beyblade - Beyblade, Invincible Flying Dragon
History Category
Significant Dates
2002
Description
Beyblade or Spinning Top Toy Box
Collected from Grant & Melissa Fong, Chinese/Canadians operating the 'Cassidy Farm Market' near the Nanaimo airport. This 'Made in China' beyblade is an imitation modelled on the original Japanes toys (suggestions that these duplicates do not last well in 'battle'). Indication that the name of the creature featured might be "Cross Flying Dragon" or "Invincible Flying Dragon". Logo on top has phrase 'second generation gladiator" or 'second generation gladiator games" on it (meaning unknown (translation completed by museum volunteer Rene)). This file includes a colorful box with instructions and labelling in (presumably) Chinese; the box contains the beyblade itself, which needs to be put together from numerous parts, a 'launcher', and a ripcord. Sold for $4.99.
