Description
Beyblade or Spinning Top Toy Box
Collected from Grant & Melissa Fong, Chinese/Canadians operating the 'Cassidy Farm Market' near the Nanaimo airport. This Beyblade is an A41 Dragoon MG System beyblade made by TT Hongli (China); this beyblade is the 'bit beast' ( a stylized term for a beyblade used by the animated characters in the beyblade 'universe') of Tyson, the main character in the Beyblade adventures. TT Hongli is a Chinese company making what have been termed 'fake', or imitation beyblades modelled on the Japanese originals (suggestions that they do not last well in 'battle'). This file includes: a colorful box (2002.24.1A) with instructions and labelling in (presumably) Chinese; the beyblade itself (2002.24.1B (put together from numerous parts with colourful decals and a dragon on top); a green 'launcher' (2002.24.1C) with 'reverse spin' labelled on top (meaning unknown); a purple ripcord (2002.24.1D); and an instruction manual (2003.24.1E) in (presumably) Chinese. Sold for $ 4.99.
