Book with board outer covers and interior paper pages stapled into a red spine; front cover has a brown surface with Chinese text and a design with a map of China; back cover has a central circular symbol with stylized Chinese characters; interior pages include Chinese text, charts and fold out maps; printing is done in blue, black and red with black calligraphy; maps are coloured in red, yellow, green and blue shades and appear to include geological as well as manmade features with locations; stamped seal prints with annotations in Chinese calligraphy are found throughout the atlas; 1932 inscribed in pencil on one of the front interior sheets; an adhered stamp is located on the inside back cover.
