Reptiles & Amphibians

 

The Royal BC Museum’s herpetology collection includes dried eggshells, eggs, embryos, tadpoles, and newly hatched animals and adults preserved as wet specimens in alcohol. A few turtles are prepared as skeletons. About 34 amphibian and 31 reptile taxa are represented in this collection.
