Unlined medium weight black/brown glazed fabric Chinese trousers with orange/brown interior; fabric finishing technique may be described as gummed or mud-treated silk; leno weave fabric with diamond pattern; hand stitched and finished with flat fell type seams; linen? yoke at waistline; wide legs have seam at inner leg and one vertical seam line on one leg both front and back; angled crotch gusset section is cut in one piece with the leg and joined to the yoke with another small fabric section both front and back; trousers - 2004.47.257 and jacket - 2004.47.256 were originally wrapped in brown paper 2004.47.258.
