Description
T-Shirt
One man's T-shirt of grey and black polyester with a white trim. Short sleeves and a V-neckline. Baseball team shirt worn by the donor when he played on the Museum team in the Government Employees' Softball League in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Logo in black and white on front of shirt was designed by museum staff member Rennie Knowlton, and depicts an early baseball player from the waist up, holding a bat, and the letters "BCPM". The Government Employees Softball League has been in existence since the 1930s, and as of 1996, the Museum still had a team, re-named the Mammoths. While the donor wore the shirt, the Museum won the League cup.
