Light tone biased but wooden base, clear varnished top and natural edges; four small pieces of light tone wood, with a clear vanish are glued on an angle near the back of the based angled to the left; small white and blue coloured stone glued to the base on the third piece of wood; a green coloured stone (possibly jade) glued in front of the fourth piece of wood; white coloured mile marker on the left side of the base with a large octagonal base with a brass chain link fence around it and a smaller octagonal base on top, a white coloured post with, "MILE '0', ALASKA HI-WAY", printed on all four sides, a white coloured sign on the top of the post with black coloured writing, " DAWSON CREEK, FT. ST.JOHN 48, FT. NELSON 300, WHITEHORSE 918, FAIRBANKS 1523" on both sides; "DAWSON CREEK, B.C." handwritten in black coloured ink in the top bottom right corner; red coloured felt glued to the bottom.
