Light tone bias cut wood base; clear varnish; a piece of light tone bias cut wood is glued onto the back of the base and has a with a full colour photographic image of the city of Dawson Creek in a white coloured plastic oval shaped frame, back of the piece of wood is painted white with a "6" inside a circle, handwritten in blue coloured ink near the top left; on the left side of the base is a red, green and black coloured stone that has been cut in half and has a coat of clear varnish all over; "DAWSON CREEK, B.C." is handwritten in black coloured ink; on the right side of the base is a white coloured mile marker with a large octagonal base with a brass chain link fence around it and a smaller with a smaller octagonal base on top, a white coloured post on top of the base with, "MILE '0', ALASKA HI-WAY", printed on all four sides and a white coloured sign on the top of the post with black coloured writing, "DAWSON CREEK, FT. ST.JOHN 48, FT. NELSON 300, WHITEHORSE 918, FAIRBANKS 1523" on both sides; red coloured felt glued to the bottom.
