Six panel reversible blue silk skirt with silk and gold embroidery and attached fringe and lion masks; machine and hand stitched; linen/cotton waistband with two hooks and four eyes; three shorter panels and three longer panels are all joined at the waistband, all panels have a 9 cm silk (?) fringe edging; each panel has embroidered border designs and a five-toe dragon design with satin stitch embroidery worked in gold, silver, red, black and white threads; gold embroidery threads are couched with red thread; a three dimensional padded lion mask is centered at the bottom of two of the short side panels - the face is worked in gold embroidery threads with padded red and white fabric pieces representing the nose, eyes, tongue and teeth, the bulbous stuffed fabric eyes are painted with black circles and a red/white striped thread covered wire outlines the mouth; the three shorter panels are lined with linen/cotton; the three longer panels have a reverse side of yellow silk with embroidered dragon motifs worked in a satin stitch in tones of blue, white, red, orange and black.
