With 'Best Of B.C.' in the middle, and a 'British Columbia Vinters Quality Alliance (VQA)' sticker on the right. According to John Schreiner in "The British Columbia Wine Companion", the VQA is the system for governing standards for BC wines; ordered into effect in May of 1991 by the BC cabinet, VQA wines must be entirely made from grapes grown and vinted in BC, must be 85% made from the grape variety named on the label, and 95 % from the year shown on the label.
