Sandals or Clogs
Pair, constructed with a woven rush (?) insole on a wooden base; the natural coloured rush (?) is laid horizontally and stitched into 4 channels to secure the fibers; padded upper foot strap is made in a tube shape and sewn of 2 cotton (?) fabrics - tan corduroy on the under portion and black/tan woven on the upper portion; the foot strap is secured each side of the insole and is threaded through a fabric loop at the toe; the wooden base is 4.5 cm high with a heel portion shaped into a square block and a toe portion that tapers towards the front; holes and rope attachments for the upper foot strap are visible along the wooden base: sandals are interchangeable.
