Fly Rod
Three piece Greenheart trout fly fishing rod with three tips, fixed line guides, in four sided grooved wooden rod case with khaki canvas bag. Medium width red spiral wraps. and twin wrapped grip. White plated (brass?) ferrules and rod rings.Shortest tip has agate insert. A is base B is middle C,D,E are tips in descending length, F is the wooden holder, G is the canvas bag.. H & I are thin cedar strips to hold tips in place. Similar construction to rods .189 and 190 in this collection. No known maker. See also Kootenay surveyor Wiilam Drewry correspondence in BC Archives where he ends letters with comments on his fishing.
