33 1/3 rpm 7" recording of two soloists on the newly opened carillon at the corner of Belleville and Government streets. Back cover contains biographical information on both performers and a brief history of the carillon with significant dates. Front cover of picture sleeve shows a colour image of the tower in spring. Both artists donated their performances and the material is copyright the Government of British Columbia. The recording was manufactured in Vancouver. The performers are Leen 't Hart (guest artist) and Herman Bergink, who became the carilloner and was organist at St. Paul's Church in Esquimalt. The carillon's history appears in the lexicon entry.
