Bread and Butter Plate
Mould formed; white ceramic with clear gloss overglaze; on the top surface is a subtle light blue; the undeside is white; the designs are all in a gray colour glaze; top centre has a circle trimmed in a gold border with a bud-like design with three small leaves and two branches of tiny daisy-like flowers with gold centres; bordering the centre is a garland of repeating gray coloured leaves and tiny daisy-like flowers with gold centres; the outside rim of the dish is rimmed in gold; machine printed on the bottom is the dish pattern, 'Morning Mist', the manufacturer, Northumbria, and the maker's mark of four triangles with a single star in the middle, pointing into a common centre and in the space between the triangles is 'AG Ltd., Made in England'.
