Pitcher
White clay body with glossy glaze applied. The piece is slip moulded and has some relief decoration on the sides and on either end of the handle. Decoration consists of a dark cobalt-blue band with a thin mid-green color band just below the rim. On the side of the pitcher is the dark green color transfer print of a garter surmounted by a crown. On the garter are the words "Vancouver Club" and the year "1893" In the center of the garter is the image of a beaver facing the right and holding a branch with leaves in its mouth. On the bottom is the maker's mark.
