Provenance
Lloyd Mahlon Wiltse was drafted under the Military Service Act, 1917. Wiltse joined the First Saskatchewan Depot Battalion November 11, 1917. Subsequently sent as a reinforcement to the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles 1 May 1918, Wiltse was wounded by shrapnel near Amiens, France in the chest and right arm August 9, 1918. On 24 January 1919 Wiltse was discharged from further service on account of wounds received in action.
