Cardboard matchbox (a) with cardboard insert tray (b) containing a collection of about 250 red and white tipped 'Diamond' brand matches (c); box is red, blue and white and printed with 'Diamond Strike Anywhere Matches, 250 Large Kitchen Matches' on top, and 'Keep Away from Children' on one side of the box; all English phrases are repeated in French; bottom of box has 'Diamond Brands Incorporated, Minneapolis, MN, USA'; a barcode is on the bottom so the matches are not from the WW1 era; other side of the box has the words 'Imported by Shirra Sales, Ltd, Calgary, Alta, T2G 4W5, Marathon Powell, Inc., Burnaby BC V5G 4E1'; wear on striker strip on both sides shows that some of the matches have been used.
