From Lieutenant Governor George Pearkes, Government House, Victoria, B.C. in thanks for an autographed copy of "The Mouth of the Wolf", a biography of Captain G.R. Paterson M.C.
Provenance
George Paterson was born at Kelowna, British Columbia. During the Second World War he served in the British Army initially with the Royal Engineers. Subsequently he served with the Special Air Service and was awarded the Military Cross and two bars. The bars indicative of a second and third award.
