Khaki colored serge wool; machine stitched; pointed collar with over stitching detail in light tone olive colored thread; black colored hook and eye closure at collar; same fabric epaulettes on shoulders with two hand stitched fabric pips fastened with a brown colored plastic button with silver colored center; a burgundy and blue colored fabric badge with yellow colored machine stitched lettering, "R.C.A.M.C" on shoulder below epaulette; on upper part of sleeve is a hand stitched patch with a red background and a blue cross; long sleeves with hidden button closure at wrist; large flap front pockets with center box pleat and hidden button closure; above pocket on proper left side is a pin; three brass buttons down center front; around the waistband is an attached same fabric belt with a silver colored belt buckle on the right side with a same fabric belt loop slightly behind it; pleating around the waistband both front and back; inside right front is a machine stitched light tone khaki panel with a white colored machine stitched label, " G.B.7117, Blouses Battle D. t., Serge A.T.S., SIZE No. 1, Height 5ft3/4ins., Bust 32/35 ins, Waist 24/27ins., G. Clanfold & Sons Ltd., 1941, black upward facing arrow, FEB 1942 stamped in black colored ink, J. Packford N/S" handwritten in black colored ink; back inside waistband has three finished buttonholes.
