Blue silk jacket with silk and gold embroidery and attached fringe and lion masks; machine and hand stitched with additional zigzag repairs; lined in linen/cotton; asymmetrical side opening with eight snaps and an under placket; one side seam slit opening 18.5 from hemline; round bound neckline; long kimono style narrow sleeves ending with a deep cuff that closes with three snaps; an added scalloped self-fabric panel is attached at each shoulder and extends over the upper sleeve; the shaped jacket hemline and the shoulder panels have a 10-15 cm silk (?) fringe edging; a five-toed dragon design is centered along the front and back of the jacket in addition to all over designs and border details all executed in satin stitch embroidery worked in gold, silver, red, black and white threads; gold embroidery threads are couched with red thread; a 3 dimensional padded lion mask is centered along each shoulder panel - the face is worked in gold embroidery threads with padded red and white fabric pieces representing the nose, eyes, tongue and teeth, the bulbous stuffed fabric eyes are painted with black circles and a red/white striped thread covered wire outlines the mouth.
