Headdress
Painted and moulded headdress with decorative extensions; tied bamboo (?) interior frame with paper mache exterior covering; front section is half of a low dome and back section is half of a high dome; 2 vertical wing-like extensions are attached at the back and one long horizontal wing-like extension is secured at the central back bottom edge; the front section has an added curved decorative piece secured along the lower edge that is trimmed with 4 wired puff balls in shades of orange and green; all sections and extensions are decorated with painted symbols and motifs in muted shades of white, red, green, blue and ochre; evidence of a previous repair with a newspaper patch is dated - 1934.
