Decorated turquoise silk satin hat constructed in three sections; the first section is a soft fabric hat with black binding along the lower edge and several pleats each side of the top, a low slit back opening is adjustable with elastic and white cotton ties; the second section positioned on the top is a decoration formed from two stiffened flat fabric covered pale turquoise pieces with attached ornaments that include: nine turquoise orange puff balls, four wrapped green wires with pearl beads and a central metal stylized dragon head all of which are supported on flexible wires; the third section is a flat stiffened back piece that has a lower flap, it is attached to the two other sections along the top edge; hand and machine stitched; three floral patterns decorative motifs are located on the hat and 4 on the back section; all are worked in shades of pink, red, green and gold sequins and outlined with gold toned bugle beads; trimmed with a stylized border sequin design; lining is beige linen/cotton with an interior fabric wrapped vertical wire support secured to the top.
